Arkan's assassination

Željko Ražnatović was assassinated on January 15, 2000, in the lobby of the InterContinental Hotel in Belgrade. He was shot by a group of masked gunmen who fled the scene. The assassination was widely believed to be a revenge killing for Ražnatović's involvement in war crimes during the Yugoslav Wars. Several suspects were arrested and tried for the murder, but the mastermind behind the assassination has never been identified.

Veljko Ražnatović today

Today, Veljko Ražnatović lives a quiet life out of the public eye. He has largely stayed out of the public eye since the disbanding of Arkan's Tigers in 2003. Veljko has been involved in various business ventures over the years, including a construction company and a nightclub. He is known to be a fan of sports and enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
